My favorite resources.
This is where I keep all the good stuff.
A list of my absolute favorite and go-to products, companies and services online, when it comes to blogging and personal growth. These are resources that I use myself and/or know they serve a good value.
Full disclosure – Some of the links on this page will be affiliate links, which means I receive a commission if you purchase through my link at no additional cost to you. I do, however, genuinely love and believe in the recommendations listed and I wouldn’t have them on this list if I didn’t. I just want to be completely honest with you. Please head to my disclaimer page if you want to learn more about affiliate links.
All good vibes. I hope you’ll enjoy these as much as I have.
I’ve divided the resources into separate categories to make it easier for you.
The Dreamer To Doer Academy is for anyone who wants to change and up-level their life. The ultimate productivity course that will transform you from full-time dreamer to full-time achiever. You’ll learn how to master your mindset, improve productivity and time management, set goals and properly chase your dreams so you can finally have amazing results in your life. This is my best work yet.
The Productivity Planner by Intelligent Change is my all-time favorite planner. It’s what I use to prioritize my to-do’s, plan out my days, make sure everything is on track and it’s how I move forward with my goals and dreams. This planner makes it all easy and enjoyable. Plus, it’s really pretty. If you struggle with procrastination, this would be my number one recommendation to solve that problem.
Intelligent Change is also the company behind this amazing journal, the Five Minute Journal. It’s a physical gratitude journal and it is beautiful. You learn how to set the right tone for the day and check in with yourself every morning and evening for gratitude and reflection.
The journal helps me to live my days with more intention and it just makes me happy.
I’m addicted to Audible for my personal development needs. This is the app I use to listen to my favorite books – I prefer listening rather than reading, to be honest, and many of the books are actually read by the author, which is amazing. Try it for free for 30 days. I did and I never looked back.
Starting a blog.
If you wish to start a blog, it needs to live somewhere on the internet. Think of a hosting service as the house that your blog lives in. Bluehost is my number one recommendation. It’s the hosting platform that I use for my blog. It’s easy to use, affordable and reliable. Perfect for new bloggers. You also get a free domain when you sign up which is amazing. Most hosting services don’t offer that.
Divi is an amazing website theme, to help you design your blog. It’s very user-friendly and easy to use, especially if you don’t know much coding and are a new blogger. It’s also very customizable and as a big bonus, it looks professional! Divi is the theme I first started out with when I started my blogging journey. It’s a good theme for beginner bloggers!
Launch Your Blog Biz is a great course to get you started if you are brand new to blogging and wish to start one. It is extremely detailed and easy to follow. You’ll learn to set up and launch your blog in no time. In addition, you will learn how to make your first $1000 blogging through affiliate marketing, sponsored posts and ads. At the beginning of my blogging journey, I took both this course and Blog With A Full-Time Job. This course is created by bloggers who made $100K their first year blogging. Need I say more?
Pinterest Traffic Avalanche is a must for newbie (or I should say ALL) bloggers. A course that helped me get my Pinterest strategies in check, increased my views on Pinterest to over 2 million views a month.
The course was created by Lauren McManus and Alex Nerney who are both full-time bloggers and started their blogging journey focusing solely on getting traffic from Pinterest. It is a gold mine. There are a lot of Pinterest courses out there, but this is, in my opinion, the best one out there.
Grayson Bell from iMark Interactive is my go-to guy for anything WordPress or trouble-shooting related. They can help with site speed, daily backups, general WordPress help and settings and much more. Feel confused no mare! I highly recommend iMark Interactive if you want your blog to be in safe/good hands.
For scheduling pins to Pinterest while you sleep – so you don’t have to manually pin to the platform. Tailwind also has an easy and insightful analytics tool. With Tailwind you can collaborate with other pinners and get your new content in front of a wider audience through their feature “Tailwind Tribes.” This can be really essential to your growth on Pinterest – especially when you’re just starting out.
I know how intimidating and borderline scary the legal aspect of blogging can seem. Fear no more. Amira from Amira’s Law is a certified lawyer (and blogger!) and she offers done-for-you legal templates for all the must-have legal pages.
Grow your blog.
ConvertKit is the email marketing service that I use. In order to grow your blog and online business into something sustainable (ie: MAKE $$) you absolutely need to sign up for an email marketing service. The money is in your email list, that is a fact – so it’s extremely important that you start to collect emails as soon as you have your blog up and running.
ConvertKit is the best option (in my opinion). It’s easy to use and get to know, visually
appealing and their customer service is awesome. They are always there for you.
OptinMonster is the service I use for creating and displaying pop-ups on my site. You know, the ones that pop up after you’ve been on my site for a while or when you hover over the “exit” button.
With OptinMonster you can create beautiful (and non-scammy) looking pop-ups that will boost your leads so you can build you email list in the easiest and best way possible. Pop-ups aren’t annoying as long as you serve your audience with amazing value.
The Blog Biz Bundle or The Pro Blogger Bundle by Create and go is the ultimate blogging bundle and for you if you’re a true go-getter. You’ll get their most popular courses, Launch Your Blog Biz, Six Figure Blogger and Pinterest Traffic Avalanche for a discounted price. This bundle is for you if you’re serious about taking your blogging business to the next level and making it your full-time job.
Created by bloggers who are currently making a $100K + a month. In order words, they really know what they are talking about.
Six Figure Blogger is the course that will teach you to become just that, a six-figure blogger. If you are looking to create your own digital products this is an absolute must.
I’m currently going through this course for the third time and the creators go through all deets that go into becoming a six-figure blogger and making a sustainable amount of money online. It is a total game-changer.
This course is aimed more towards intermediate to advanced bloggers. If you’re just starting out with monetizing your blog, I would suggest you check out their Make Money Blogging For Beginners course.
Note: It only works if you do the work.
Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing is a course that teaches you the how, the what, the everything there is to know about affiliate marketing. It can be a tricky business, so investing in this course was the best thing I did for my business.
Created by the queen of affiliate marketing herself, Michelle Schroeder-Gardner, who earns over $50,000 with affiliate marketing every month. She shares her wise wisdom in this course and I am so thankful for it. A must for every blogger who wants to make money online, and wants to take her/his business to the next level.
Lead Pages is the platform and service that I use to create my landing pages, for freebies, products and so on. Lead Pages is my favorite tool for creating unique landing pages. It’s easy to use and you can create professional and beautiful looking pages without having to be a coding expert. I love it!
Making Sense Of Sponsored Posts is an online course created by seven figure blogger Michelle of Making Sense Of Cents and her sister Alexis of Fitnancials. This course is for you if you want to learn all there is to landing sponsorships and writing high quality sponsored posts. Alex and Michelle earn up to $20.000 a month from sponsored posts alone.
Stupid Simple SEO is the best course (and easiest to understand) on SEO specifically for bloggers (over 1800+ bloggers have taken this course, myself included). Learn how to get more traffic to your blog by learning Google SEO.
