No! Someone please stop time, it’s going by way too fast (or is it just because I’m old?)
Anyway, and in all seriousness, can you believe we’re already halfway through 2025?
Totally cuckoo—but here we are in July, with six months left of this year.
This feels like the *perfect* time to pause, reflect, and reset as creators, introverts, and business owners.
If you’re feeling a little off track, stuck, or just ready for some clarity, this mid‑year reset is for you.
I’m sharing the exact process I use for my mid-year review (and yes, I’ll be sharing some of my answers with ya too!)
We’re going to take it step by step, and boy, is it going to be fun! ✨
Side note: If we haven’t met, I have an obsession and a big amour for planning and organizing, hence Dream Plan Do.

For my visual learners:
Part 1: Reflect & Celebrate
Let’s kick things off with a no-pressure, shame-free reflection of the first half of 2025. 🎉
Prompt: What are 3 wins (big or small) from H1 2025 that made you feel proud?
My answer:
- My YouTube consistency— new videos weekly for nearly a year (well, almost but I consider that a huge win!)
- Six straight months of posting to Instagram (phew, let’s just say it was an *experience*)
- Recording a tough, honest video (the one below) about my business pivots and authenticity online
Prompt: What surprised you during these first 6 months of the year?
My answer: I discovered that editing my YouTube videos with Descript saves me so much freakin’ time! I used to only use Final Cut Pro, and I edited at a snail’s pace lol.
Prompt: What felt energizing or easy?
My answer: My cozy 5:45 AM mornings were a game-changer.
With a focused, time‑boxed session before the kids wake, I’ve been super-productive using the Pomodoro method and clear calendaring.
I mean, I’ve been the biggest fan of morning routines since the day I started this blog back in 2018, and if we’re being totally honest, She Dreams All Day wouldn’t exist had it not been for my love for morning routines and waking up early.

I totally romanticize the mornings.
Part 2: Re‑Align With How You Feel
Time to check in with the vibes and the intentions you set back in January of this year. ✨
Prompt: What feels off in your biz or content right now?
My answer: Well, I certainly needed a break from Instagram (after posting for 6 months straight).
I need to get re-inspired and motivated and create new content, because right now I’m repurposing a lot of my B-roll footage.
There’s nothing wrong with that, but I’m just getting sick of my content because I feel like I’m using the same clips over and over again.
Oh well! I am slowly finding my groove again on the gram (because I do love that space).

Prompt: Which offers platforms or routines feel like shoulds and not wants?
My answer:TikTok feels like a should, not a want, because of the whole “could go viral thing, could go viral tomorrow, keep posting every day.”
We’re not doing that. Or, we might try that, but we’re not gonna let it stress us out.
Doing outreach for interviews or podcasts feels draining for this introvert over here, too.
Prompt: Where is energy leaking?
For example, mundane tasks like editing, Pinterest marketing, customer support, or bookkeeping… maybe it’s time to outsource.
Ya might also consider letting a VA handle the things that don’t spark joy for you in your business (because we all have those things we need to do but don’t wanna).
Prompt: What’s been pulling your attention away from your dreams, your core goals that you set in January of 2025?
Prompt: What story needs rewriting?
My answer: I’ve sometimes felt icky highlighting earnings online.
I don’t wanna be just another person talking about how much money they make online.
Running an online business is so much more than the monetization strategies.
The rewrite? It’s okay to share money wins—just in a way that feels aligned, real, and true to my voice. ✨
Part 3: Reset Goals & Dream Vision
Let’s gently refresh your intentions 💭
Prompt: What was your main 2025 goal? Is it still aligned?
Reflect on what has moved the needle and what’s working vs not.
Are you on track, or do you need to tweak that Pinterest dream vision board a little?
Prompt: What small actions can move you toward that goal?
Example: “Publish a blog post once a week” or “batch 2 YT videos monthly”
Simplify where needed by removing low-impact tasks.
Focus on that needle (that’s moving your bum in the right direction).
Prompt: What outdated idea can you lovingly let go?
I know, I know…
As entrepreneurs and non-stop dreamers, we have so many creative ideas, too many to handle!
Put them in your dream drawer for now, for another season.
Maybe a side-project, idea, or product is no longer aligned with your core focus for this year.
Part 4: Refocus Q3 + Q4 ⚡️
Giddy up! It’s time to simplify and plan the heck out of the next 6 months in business (and life).
Prompt: What are your 1–2 core projects for the rest of 2025?
My answer: Launching my Cozy Gram Course in September
Completing an audit and update of all funnels in October
Prompt: What’s another goal you’d love to complete—even imperfectly?
It’s okay to have another project than the two you originally planned for, but have it be something to focus on if you have the time and energy, and for goodness’ sake, let’s not put the perfection pressure on.
Part 5: Redefine Success for Your Season
Let’s talk feelings and redefining progress! 🌟
Prompt: How do you want to feel for the rest of the year?
Some ideas for ya → Balanced, calm, confident, creative, financially secure, present in relationships.
Prompt: What are your top 3 metrics to track? If you could only track 3.
My answer:
- Monthly revenue
- Email list growth
- YouTube subscriber count (my biggest content focus and goal right now)
Part 6: Plan the Next Six Months (Take Cozy Action)
Onto the practicals!
Prompt: What’s your content rhythm for the next half-year?
- Blog weekly or twice-monthly?
- Post to Instagram Mon–Fri? Or lower frequency, higher quality?
- YouTube weekly or bi-weekly?
Prompt: How will you repurpose content smoothly?
- Use video‑to‑shorts tools to auto-generate clips
- Turn blog posts into carousels, newsletters, podcasts, or Reels
Prompt: What routine do you want to bring back?
My answer:
- Cozy morning routine
- “No phone after 9 PM” to wind down
Prompt: What support do you need going forward to chase your dreams for 2025?
- Do you need to hire help?
- Set up stronger systems to streamline your business?
Oh hey! If you’re into business organization and want to step into the backend of *my* business to see how I’ve streamlined it all? Check out my course, Dream Plan Do with ClickUp.
