Let’s get one thing straight…
This is not another “how to use ChatGPT to write your captions” kind of post.
Because while yes, ChatGPT is great for content…
I actually use it for a whole bunch of cozy, behind-the-scenes things in my business that have nothing to do with content creation.
No blog posts, no reels, no email subject lines over here. 👋
These are the admin-y, strategy-y, “please help me not get overwhelmed by tech” kind of things that honestly make my introvert business life so much easier.
If you’re a cozy creative like me⎯ building an online business, juggling 100 ideas, and trying not to drown in decisions…keep your eyes on this blog post lol.
This might just change the way you work (in the best way).
Let’s dive in! ✨

For my visual learners:
1. Making Sense of Analytics
I’m all about tracking what’s working… but Google Analytics? YouTube stats? Email click-through rates?
Oh, the nerdy numbers that don’t make much sense to me. 🤓
So I upload my reports (from the past 30, 60, or 90 days) into ChatGPT and ask it to explain it to me like I’m 10.
I literally say:
“Talk to me like I’m 10 years old. What’s working? What isn’t? What should I focus on next?”
It summarizes everything in plain human language and helps me make strategic decisions without the gazillion numbers confusion.
2. Weekly Focus & Goal Reminders
Because my ChatGPT has memory turned on, I’ve fed it all the dreamy details of my business:
- My yearly goals and seasonal focuses
- My brand voice and values
- My audience survey results (anonymized, of course)
- My Pinterest vision board (yep)
- My brand refresh notes and tone-of-voice guide
Every Monday, I type:
“Remind me what I said I was focusing on this month.”
And she (Chatty) gently guides me back to my goals so I don’t get distracted by 37 ✨sparkly✨ new ideas.
3. Project Planning + ClickUp Task Breakdown
Whenever I’m working on a big project (like a new course or funnel), I’ll ask ChatGPT to help me break it down into manageable, step-by-step tasks.
It helps me:
- Outline the full project from start to finish
- Create ClickUp-friendly columns and statuses
- Suggest a calendar view or timeline based on my working hours
Basically, it’s my personal launch assistant.
Just without the Slack pings. 😝
Oh, and I of course use ClickUp to organize everything because j’adore ClickUp, I even have a whole entire course devoted to it. 💖
4. Simplifying Complicated Tech Stuff
Let’s say I’m trying to connect a checkout page → email funnel → course delivery system → multiple offers without overlapping the wrong tags.
*Cue internal screaming*
Instead of spiraling into tech stress, I ask ChatGPT to:
- Map out the whole workflow in simple steps
- Tell me exactly what tags I need to add where
- Explain the automations I need to set up in ConvertKit, ThriveCart, Kajabi, etc.
Game. Freaking. Changer. 💫
6 points and stars to my new virtual assistant, Chatty.
5. Building + Refining Offers
Chatty knows my full offer suite, my audience’s pain points, and my goals, so she helps me:
- Brainstorm gaps in my product ladder
- Audit course outlines for fluff or repetition
- Review if bonuses are actually helpful or just… there lol
Note: I always do the final strategy and writing myself, but ChatGPT helps me stay clear, concise, and value-stuffed bay-bee.
6. Repetitive and boring Admin Stuff
You know the stuff that makes you want to snooze till ya lose? 😴
- Writing FAQ sections
- Creating refund policies
- Summarizing legal contracts
- Pricing out offers based on income goals
I’m literally yawning just typing those bullets out.
Instead, I hand it to ChatGPT and say:
“Please make this less boring and more human.”
It also helps me reverse-engineer pricing. 💰
I give it my revenue goals, conversion rates, and email list size, and it helps me figure out how many offers I need to sell or what price point I’d need to hit to reach that dreamy goal.
Woah.
Again.
Game. Freaking. Changer.
Thanks, Chatty! 😍
7. Sales Page Polish
Before I hit publish on a new sales page, I’ll paste it into ChatGPT and ask:
- “Where am I repeating myself?”
- “Is this clear and concise?”
- “Can you turn this into compelling bullet points for my checkout page?”
This helps me tighten up my sales copy — and avoid accidentally writing a 4,000-word page about a $47 product. (Been there.)
8. Strategic Decision-Making
Sometimes I just need to think out loud with someone who knows my business.
Enter my new fave digital person: Chatty.
It’s truly like having a virtual assistant with a PhD in literally everything. 🤯
When I’m not sure if I should launch something, shift focus, or wait⎯ I’ll give it all the context:
- My schedule
- My energy
- What I’ve got going on behind the scenes
- My current revenue goals
Then I’ll ask:
“Which project should I prioritize this month?”
It gives me pros, cons, and a cozy little list that helps me make the best decision without spiraling.
9. Pricing Strategy Help
If I’ve got a new offer I’m planning, I’ll ask ChatGPT to help me reverse-engineer my pricing based on:
- My monthly income goal
- My audience size
- My average conversion rate
This gives me a quick snapshot of what I need to sell (and at what price) to hit those dreamy income milestones without needing a giant spreadsheet or finance degree.
Yes and thank you to that! ✨
10. Energy-Saving Support (a.k.a. Mental Load Relief)
Honestly? One of my favorite things about using ChatGPT this way is that it saves so much mental energy.
It helps me stay focused, get organized, and cut through the noise, especially when my brain wants to chase every sparkly idea that shows up.
Plus, it’s way more fun to work with when it already knows:
- My values
- My offers
- My brand vibe
And that I’d rather work in my PJs than go viral on TikTok.
Final Thoughts
I know AI can feel overwhelming or even icky sometimes, especially in the online space where it’s often used to churn out robotic content.
But I promise, when you use it intentionally, ChatGPT can be a cozy, supportive tool that helps you build your dreamy business in a way that’s strategic, slow, and 100% aligned with your dream vision.
So go ahead: set your goals, give it context, name your ChatGPT persona (Shelly’s taken hehe), and let it take a bit of the mental load off your shoulders.
Because we don’t need AI to replace us.
We just need it to make the backend of business feel a little less… overwhelming.
Cool?
Tootles & cozy business vibes!
