So I just woke up and had the urge to pop on here and record my next podcast.  

I’ve spoken a little about this subject on my Instagram stories, but it’s such an important one that I thought it deserved its own podcast. 

So let’s sit back and discuss just how cool introverts actually are, and how some people just get us totally wrong.

 

 

WE ARE PUT IN A BOX THAT WE DON’T DESERVE TO BE IN.

Often, introverts are in a box that we don’t deserve to be in.

Just because we resonate with being an introvert, it doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t do certain things when running our business. 

For example, when I first started out, I thought writing was the best way for me to express myself. Don’t get me wrong, I love writing, but if I’m honest?

I was hiding. 

But even if you are an introvert or a shy person (BTW being an introvert doesn’t mean you have to be shy… but that’s a whole discussion for another time 😅) you don’t have to only write and blog.

 

 

You can show up in any way you want.

Do you have dreams of starting a Youtube channel? Or talking on a podcast? Go for it!

There are no set rules for amazing people (aka, introverts) in the business world. We can do anything we want.

When I think about being an introvert, I see a rainbow. 

We thrive in solitude and gain our energy by spending time alone. But one way for one introvert might not be the same for another. One content platform that’s right for me might not suit you.

We’re all different shades and colours of the wonderful introvert rainbow, and that, is a beautiful thing.

Find a way to make business fun for you. Something that makes you want to wake up at 5 in the morning.

There’s not just one way to do business as an introvert. 

You don’t have to do a Youtube video. Or a live webinar. 

Don’t put introverts in a box.

You do you. And there are no rules for this!

 

 

Your business is like a highway

A highway filled with amazing opportunities and chances perfectly suited to you and your amazingly introverted self.

You don’t just have to write because you are an introvert. 

Ask yourself; am I writing because I love to write? Because I don’t enjoy watching videos or listening to podcasts? If so, that’s fine! But make sure you are challenging yourself and pushing past your limiting beliefs. 

If there’s something deep down inside of you, niggling away to do something ‘scary’, do it. The reason it’s a limiting belief in the first place is that you want it, but there’s something stopping you from taking action.

Think about what’s stopping you. Are you scared of failing, not saying the right thing and being awkward? (This happens to me ALL the time 😂)

Or are you worried about what other people might think of you?

 

 

I challenge you to try.

Go live on Instagram or start a Youtube channel. Your limiting beliefs are not a reason to not do something. 

Check yourself.

Do a gut check.

Don’t sabotage the growth of your business because of your mindset. Check yourself girl!

Ultimately, the point of this episode is to remind you that you can do anything you freaking want in the world of business.

There isn’t just one way to do business as an introvert. 

Find a way to do business and create content that feels good to you.

The world is your oyster.

Don’t let anybody put you, the wonderful introvert that you are, in a box.
