1. How To Stop Screwing Yourself Over With Mel Robbins
I love this woman, she is such an inspiring speaker.
She’s the genius behind the 5-second rule – by counting backward from 5 you’ll trick your mind and the world will be at your feet and possibilities – endless.
It may sound ridiculously simple, but watch her talk and check out her award-winning blog.
“It’s your job to make yourself do the crap you don’t wanna do, so you can be EVERYTHING that you’re supposed to be.”
“Stop waiting to feel like it.”
So as Nike would say – just do it and stop screwing yourself over.
2. The Secret Of Becoming Mentally Strong With Amy Morin
The basis for this talk is…
Stop feeling sorry for yourself and surround yourself with pity.
And stop having unhealthy beliefs about others and the world and instead learn how to manage and build your mental strength. Give up bad mental habits.
Mental health and mental strength are and could potentially be more important than your physical health and physical strength.
Think about this for a minute and watch the talk.
“No matter what your goals are, building mental strength is the key to reaching your greatest potential.”
3. The Power Of Introverts With Susan Cain
Being an introvert myself, this talk by Susan Cain really resonated with me.
It’s about how we as introverts can be viewed as just as strong and have excellent skills and abilities that the world is truly in need of.
And that we shouldn’t feel ashamed to be an introvert or a mellow, quiet person.
My motto is and will always be…
Quiet people can do amazing things.
Note that shyness is not the same as introversion – Susan explains why.
I don’t know why but Susan also makes me feel soothed and comfortable while listening to her talk.
Always a bonus.

She started her online business at age 20.
She now gets over 100,000 hits to her website every month.

Over 140,000 women have joined (including myself).

5. Your Body Language May Shape Who You Are With Amy Cuddy
- Stand up.
- Loosen up.
- Be confident.
Our body language affects how others view us, and also how we see ourselves.
Amy talks about “power posing” and how if you stand in a posture of confidence (even if you’re not feeling yourself at that moment), this will automatically boost feelings of confidence and can make a huge difference and it may have an effect on your chance for success in life.
Try it and watch the talk.
“Fake it till you make it.”
“Our minds change our bodies, our bodies change our minds.”
